Sun King Opens in Fishers

When Sun King announced a delay in their planned Fishers expansion, they wanted to let Fishers know there is a commitment to the local area.   On Wednesday, July 1st, Sun King had a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Tasting Room, located in a 96th Street Fishers  strip mall, just a few doors down from Sahm’s restaurant.  You can watch the video of the event above.  Mayor Scott Fadness joined the Sun King ownership team to cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Judging The Children’s Parade – Fishers Freedom Festival

The Children’s Parade at the Fishers Freedom Festival is always a colorful, family oriented event.  In 2015, I was asked to help judge the bikes in the parade for the best decorated. This was a very tough assignment.  All the bikes looked great, with the families involved all spending lot of time preparing their respective bikes for the parade.

Congratulations to all the children and their families that were a part of this year’s Fishers Freedom Festival Children’s Parade.  I was honored to be a part of it.

Thanks for Your Patience – We Are Back Up and Running!

After two and a half weeks of pure agony dealing with my previous Web hosting company, I have made the switch to a new host and new software.  I’m still working on the look of this site and hope to make changes to improve it.

My thanks to so many of you asking me when the site would be up and running again.   I can now get back to the business at hand….writing about what is happening in Fishers.
