Mayor Scott Fadness gave his annual State of the City address Wednesday and sat down with me for a podcast discussion Thursday. We talked about a number of issues, including his concept of regionalism, and how that would be paid for. The mayor also talked about challenges in building a 5G wireless network in Fishers neighborhoods and the summer road construction season.
Larry: This was very informative. Getting government entities to join together for the regional good is a daunting task and will take years. Before retiring and moving here, I was part of the Northeast Indiana regional initiative (11 county area around Fort Wayne). I was a small part from a rural county. It takes big time business movers and shakers and foundations to come to his aid in order to gain traction. I wish him luck.
