IndyStar: Metazoa Brewing will not locate at 116th & Allisonville Rd after all

It appears Metazoa Brewing will not be building a new facility at 116th Street and Allisonville Road as previously announced, citing rising costs of construction.

John Tuohy of the Indianapolis Star, in a piece posted on the IndyStar Web site early August 9th, reports that both Metazoa and the City of Fishers are starting from scratch on where they go from here.

  1. Larry, you forgot to link to the Indy Star article, “Drag Bingo is new at Metazoa Brewing in downtown Indianapolis.” I am not sure the Town of Fishers should be subsidizing via land discounts business establishment that caters to drag queens performances.
Anyway, I am please to support FDR and MashCraft who have been in the community for a few years.

    1. Wow! The hate oozes out! Perhaps they will open in Carmel where it’s a little bit more accepting of all people

  2. Larry, I appreciate your hard work, but allowing this sort of vitriolic flamebait from Joe is counter productive.

    1. It was is homophobic for Bruce to state the the city shouldn’t work with a business because they have a “drag bingo” night and I called him out. I’m tried of people making passivly homophpobic (or rasict) remarks and them being allowed to stand unchallenged.

Larry, if you feel like my original comment will cause you a headache, feel free to remove. I still stand by what I said.
