Planning for the Spark Fishers Festival

It is not too early to begin planning for this year’s Spark Fishers Festival.

Below is the route for this year’s parade.  Below is the list of parking restrictions and details on how to park and/or catch a shuttle to and from the celebration.

 

 

Tuesday, June 23, 2026

  • Parking restrictions beginning at 3:30 p.m.
    • No parking permitted in Fishers City Services Building north parking lot at 3 Municipal Drive.
    • ONLY fire department staff with a parking pass and/or event guests with an accessible parking tag or license plate will be permitted to park Fishers Fire Department Station 91 north parking lot at 2 Municipal Drive.

Wednesday, June 24, 2026

  • Road closures
    • Beginning at 3 p.m.
      • Municipal Drive loop closed on the west side from Nickel Plate District Amphitheater south to Fishers Center Drive.
    • Beginning at 6:30 p.m.
      • All of Municipal Drive closed from 116th north around both sides of the loop to Lantern Road.
      • Right turn only from Fuel Way onto 126th Street
      • Right turn only from Markay Drive onto 126th Street
      • Left turn only onto 126th Street from Trophy Drive
    • Beginning at 6:45 p.m.
      • No westbound traffic permitted along North Street between Municipal Drive and Maple Street.
        • When exiting the Switch garage (9 Municipal Drive), all traffic will be right-turn only and will be directed eastbound to avoid the closure.
      • Lantern Road closed from Technology Way to 126th Street roundabout (roundabout fully closed)
      • Eastbound lane of 126th Street closed from Lantern Road to the Nickel Plate Trail.
  • Parking restrictions
    • Beginning at 6 a.m.
      • No parking in street parking spaces along Municipal Drive.
      • No parking in the Fishers Fire Department Station 91 north parking lot (2 Municipal Drive). Vehicles will be towed.
    • Beginning at 5 p.m.
      • No parking at the following lots and garages
        • Fishers Fire Department Station 91 north and south lots (2 Municipal Drive)
        • Fishers Police Department garage (4 Municipal Drive)
        • City Services Building north and south lots (3 Municipal Drive)
        • Flexware Innovation lot (12 Municipal Drive)
        • Ellipse lot (11 Municipal Drive)
        • Hamilton East Public Library north, east, and south lots (5 Municipal Drive)
        • MJC lot (14 Municipal Drive)
        • USPS lot (8500 E. 116th Street)
        • Braden rear parking (8700 North Street)
    • Beginning at 6:30 p.m.
      • The Depot garage (8594 E. 116th Street) will be open for entry/exit from Fishers Center Drive only.
      • The Switch garage (9 Municipal Drive) will only be accessible from North Street.

Friday, June 26, 2026

  • Road closure beginning at 9:30 p.m.
    • Regency Drive from Lake Circle South to Chelsea Court (Sunblest Apartments)
  • All-day parking restrictions
    • No curbside or parallel parking along Municipal Drive (loop and east and west sides of north- and southbound Central Green)
    • No parking in the following lots:
      • City Services Building north and south lots (3 Municipal Drive)
        • Transitions to accessible parking only at 3 p.m.
      • Flexware Innovation lot (12 Municipal Drive)
      • Hamilton East Public Library east and south lots (5 Municipal Drive)
      • USPS lot (8500 E. 116th Street)
  • Lane restrictions may also be in place throughout the day around the Municipal Drive circle as large deliveries are made for the festival.
  • USPS parking lot open only for USPS employees and customers conducting post office business. This parking lot should not be used at any time for Spark!Fishers event parking.
  • Accessible parking will be available in the City Services Building (3 Municipal Drive) south parking lot. Tag or license plate required.

Saturday, June 27, 2026

  • Road restrictions and closures
    • Beginning at 11:30 a.m.
      • All of Municipal Drive loop from Fishers Center Drive (post office road) northbound along the west side of the loop, around and behind the amphitheater stage, back southbound on the east side of the loop to North Street
      • All of Fishers Center Drive from 116th Street north to Municipal Drive
      • North Street from Municipal Drive to Maple Street
    • Beginning at 2:30 p.m.
      • Complete closure of Municipal Drive loop from 116th Street north to Lantern Road
      • No visitor vehicles will be permitted into the festival footprint beginning at this time.
    • FULL CLOSURES beginning at 6:15 p.m.
      Note: These will reopen as the parade completes its route and after the intersection or roadway has been cleared for reopening by the Fishers Police Department, estimated at approximately 9 p.m.

      • Lantern Road from Technology Way and Sunblest Boulevard and from Sunblest Boulevard
      • 116th Street from Municipal Drive and Holland Drive
      • Holland Drive from 116th Street to Holland Park parking lot (1 Park Drive)
      • Ellipse Parkway from Holland Drive and Sunblest Boulevard
      • Sunblest Boulevard from Ellipse Parkway and Lantern Road
  • Parking restrictions and closures
    • ALL DAY NO PARKING
      • Fishers Fire Department Station 91 north and south lots (2 Municipal Drive)
      • City Services Building north and south lots (3 Municipal Drive)
      • Flexware Innovation lot (12 Municipal Drive)
      • Ellipse lot (11 Municipal Drive)
      • Hamilton East Public Library north, east, and south lots (5 Municipal Drive)
      • MJC lot (14 Municipal Drive)
      • USPS lot (8500 E. 116th Street)
      • Meyer Najem (11787 Lantern Road)
    • Accessible parking will be available in the Ellipse south parking lot at 11 Municipal Drive. This parking lot must be accessed from the north side at Lantern Road and Municipal Drive.
    • Holland Park will be closed to vehicular traffic all day. The park will still be open from dawn until 8 p.m. The park will close at 8 p.m. as Fishers Parks staff sets up the fireworks finale of the Spark!Fishers Festival. The park property will remain closed the remainder of the evening. People should not trespass the property, as it will be an active fall zone for fireworks debris.

 

Parking + Shuttles

Shuttle Service

On Saturday, Spark!Fishers attendees, volunteers, and staff are strongly encouraged to park at Crosspoint Plaza 1 (10475 Crosspoint Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46256) and take the free shuttle to the festival. Shuttles will run regularly beginning Saturday at 2:30 p.m. through midnight.

Parking Lots + Garages

Surface lots around Municipal Drive will not be available to Spark!Fishers guests. FREE public parking is available in The Edge, Nickel Plate Station, and First Internet Bank parking garages.

Important note: Access to downtown parking will be limited from 6:15 to 9 p.m. due to the parade route affecting traffic patterns. Travel from garages and parking lots may be delayed for parade participants’ safety.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available at all Spark!Fishers events. Tag or license plate required. Daily accessible parking options are as follows:

  • Friday, June 26
    • Fishers Fire Department Station 91 north parking lot (2 Municipal Drive)
  • Saturday, June 27
    • Ellipse south parking lot (11 Municipal Drive)
      *lot must be accessed from the north side at Lantern Road and Municipal Drive
    • Overflow: Fishers Police Department parking garage (4 Municipal Drive)
