The hamburger restaurant business is a tough and competitive one. It wasn’t that long ago when Bagger Dave’s bagged-it-in, closing several locations, including the one in Fishers.
Now, Jack in the Box has become the latest casualty. The hamburger fast food chain decided to close three eateries in the Indianapolis Metro area, including the one at 116th Street and Allisonville Road in Fishers.
With the new Kroger story under construction nearby, I would think some other operation would want to take over that location at some point in the near future. But for now, the old Jack in the Box is just an empty building.
A spokesperson for the corporate office told WRTV the chain is still considering expanding in the Indy area. That’s interesting.
We will be watching for any news of what may come next to the corner of 116th & Allisonville Road.
Recently at this location there was a huge fight, fists thrown, horrible threatening language, between an employee and the manger. I was just getting my drink at the time, waiting for my order to get done. The angry employee started racist threats at the female manger then out of the blue at me as well. She said, “I know ya’ll hate us up here working, I am gonna kick your a$$, I know what car you drive!” At this point, I started for the door. She said, “I am gonna kick your a$$, too, white boy…. I know what you drive, I’m also coming for you.” At this point really out of control another employee grabbed the employee lady and literally picked her up and took her outside to restrain her. She came back in yelling and started on me again. I’m like “I am outta here.”
I left without my food, drove away pulled over and contacted Jack in the Box immediately from my receipt, I asked to speak to someone at the end left my number that this was way out of line. No returned calls at all. I tried again a few days later and still no response, only a recorded press this for a survey BS.
I am/was a customer. I was threatened, felt fear on my physical self, my property, and will NEVER EVER go back there again I thought. Now suddenly it is closed?
For the record, I am not interested in suing anyone. I am a older (55) white male. I live in Fishers. This is not right! But an apology from jack in the Box for this type of treatment was / is/ and should be dealt with. It’s no wonder it is now closed!!!!!
