Political campaigns traditionally start around Labor Day, but Fishers City Council candidate Samantha Chapman is wasting no time touting an endorsement from a national organization.

“Run for Something” has issued an endorsement for Democrat Chapman.  “Run for Something” describes itself as a progressive group supporting young people running for local office.  It was founded in 2017 by Amanda Litman, a staff member of Hilary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and Ross Morales Rocketto, a person involved in a number of past political campaigns.

“I am honored to receive this endorsement from Run for Something,” said candidate Chapman in a campaign news release.

Chapman faces incumbent Republican Councilor Brad DeReamer in the Northeast District November general election.

  1. Thank you, Larry, for informing us that the corrupt and very evil Hillary is spending money trying to corrupt Fishers. Let’s go Brad!

    1. My generation, the Boomers, we’re going to change the world. We are responsible for what is in Washington DC right now, partisanship and broken gridlock.
Perhaps our children, the millennials and Gen X’ers can put a stop to the madness.
I commend all the younger people like Samantha of all Parties who would like to work in the interest of making all our lives better.
Dhume, wake up. It’s a tax write off for Hillary, and perhaps down the road it could pay off. The statute of limitations has not passed yet for her and Bubba.

  2. Glad to see Samantha Chapman running, we need to get her elected for more accountability and discussions on the city council, I can support her campaign but since i live in another district not able to vote for her which is unfortunate.
