Hamilton County Emergency Management’s latest winter storm update

Hamilton County Emergency Management has issued its latest information on how the Winter Storm Warning may impact us locally.  It is expected that more snow will fall in the northern sections of the county and less, perhaps 6-8 inches, in the Fishers area.

Here is the text of that statement, issued Tuesday morning:

1. Winter storm duration extended from 1 a.m. to now 7 p.m.
2. Snowfall amounts will range from 6″ to 8″ for the southeast half of the county and 8″ to 12″ northwest half of the county.
3. Travel could be very difficult.

 

4. Hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
